JAMMU –  Two passengers were killed and 12 others injured, including four children, when a car they were traveling in rolled down a gorge along the Jammu-Srinagar national highway in Ramban district on Saturday, police said.

Senior Superintendent of Police, Ramban, PD Nitya said around 10 am, driver of a passenger taxi from Jammu headed to Banihal lost control over the vehicle, and it fell into a deep gorge at Samadhi Morh, Digdole.

Details of those killed are awaited but the injured have been identified as Jameela,7; Nasir Khan,19; Aikra, 2; Akya, 8; Ara Bano, 4; Suaib Khan,18; Sohil Khan, Manzoor Ahmed, 28; Khaleda Begum, 35; Arif, 22, Ashu, 35, and Usman,19.
