JAMMU – Mrs Bimla Luthra, Ex-MLA, Vice President Women Wing, Jammu and Kashmir National Conference organized a protest rally from Sher-I Kashmir Bhawan to Mandir Chowk Jammu against the rising prices and deterioration of law and order situation in the Union Territory. Large number of women workers participated in the rally displaying banners against price rise and unemployment.
While addressing the rally Mrs Bimla Luthra lambasted that BJP led government for its failure to mitigate the problems of the people and maintain law and order. She said that rising prices is the major concern of the people particularly women folk. BJP led government has miserably failed to contain price rise and provide jobs to the unemployed educated youth in the UT. They don’t allow us to protest, she added.
Those who were present on the occasion included: Mrs Vijay laxami Dutta, Mrs Rashida Begum, Mrs Bharti, Mrs Pinki Khalsa, Mrs Jyoti, Mrs Savita, Mrs Rani, Mrs Rita, Mrs Nitu, Mrs Raj Rani and others.
