J&K Reports 105 New Covid-19 Cases, No Death

Srinagar – Jammu & Kashmir reported 105 new coronavirus cases even as there was no death due the virus in last 24 hours, officials said on Monday.

30 of the new cases were reported from Jammu Division and 75 from Kashmir Valley, taking the overall case tally to 325253.

There was no death reported due to the pathogen during the time. So far 4407—2166 in Jammu and 2241 in Kashmir have succumbed as per official data.

Providing the district-wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 48 cases, Baramulla 4, Budgam 9, Pulwama 2, Kupwara 3, Anantnag 0, Bandipora 1, Ganderbal 2, Kulgam 6, Shopian 0, Jammu 6, Udhampur 0, Rajouri 1, Doda 14, Kathua 0, Samba 0, Kishtwar 5, Poonch 0, Ramban 1 and Reasi 3.

A number of cases were confirmed at diagnostic laboratories at CD hospital and GMC Anantnag.

The CD cases include male (21) from Khag, female (21) from Budgam, two females (9, 14) and male (11) from Nowshera, male (32) from Safakadal, female (45) from Harwan, female (35) from Budgam, female (36) from Balhama, female (30) from Kakapora, male (47) from Bargam, male (28) from Norpora, female (15) from Panner, female (50) from Srinagar, male (NA) from Kargil, female (28) from Rajouri Kadal, female (40) from Barbarshah, male (2) from Lal Bazar, male (30) from Nagbal, female (23) from Buchpora, male (70) and female (65) from Mallabagh, two females (16, 12) from Naseem Bagh, male (27) from Kupwara, female (40) from Dargah, male (21) from Baghwanpora and female (64) from Madin Sahib.

The GMC Anantnag cases include male (25) from Lukbawan Lrk, male (38) from Khanabal Ang.

Moreover, the officials said that 117 more COVID-19 patients have recovered—31 from Jammu Division and 86 from the valley. So far, 319582 people have recovered, leaving active cases at 1264— 336 in Jammu and 928 in Kashmir.

Meanwhile, no fresh confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) was reported today, they said. So far 44 black fungus cases have been confirmed in J&K, the officials added.
