Youth Killed in Rajouri, Highway blocked by locals

RAJOURI – A youth in Rajouri was murdered by some unknown persons who entered the house of one  Bachan Lal S/o Karam Chand R/o Chakli Rajouri and attacked his son Ankush Bakshi with sharp edged weapons who died  on the spot.

Later on District Administration including DC Rajouri Rajesh Kumar Shavan and SSP Rajouri Sheema Nabi  visited the spot of protest where DC Rajouri assured them for financial help as well as job for victim’s family and SSP Rajouri told that FIR No. 538/2021 u/s 302/458 IPC has been registered at PS Rajouri and investigation has been started. In the meantime acting swiftly SSP Rajouri Sheema Nabi constituted a special Investigation Team (SIT) headed by DySP Hq, Rajouri for speedy investigation of the case and assured all kind of help to the victim’s family and told them that culprit will not be spared and will be dealt with iron hand and every effort will be made to provide justice to the family. She assured that such anti social elements will not be provided free hands to commit such type of acts and will be dealt strictly as no one is above law.

Meanwhile heavy protest  which have blocked Jammu Poonch Highway lifted the protest after assurance from District Administration and they thanked administration for providing relief to the family.
