REASI – Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Charandeep Singh today released two publications ‘District at a glance” and Village amenity Directory” .
The publications highlight the geographical features, demography, livelihood related data, Socio economic statistics, availability of basic amenities under different sectors and their location -distance and matrix of district Reasi.
The compilation and publication of books containing wide-ranging details about the socio-economic profile of the district forms the part of ongoing ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ campaign and aim at spreading the ideas for development of the district and the nation as a whole.
ADC Abdul Star, CPO Sunita Kanchan, PO ICDS Renu Kumari, DSEO Darshan Kumar were also present.
On the occasion, the DC appreciated the efforts of DSEO, Darshan Kumar and his staff for collection and compilation of data for these two books. He said the right information will help in better planning according to the needs of the district. He guided and inspired the officer and his team for bringing further improvement in these publications.
