SRINAGAR – Prof (Dr) Ajaz Ahmad Shah, HoD Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Government Dental College Srinagar has been awarded for his enormous contribution in the field of Maxillofacial surgery.
According to a statement, Dr Ajaz has been awarded by craniofacial research academy.
He became the first Maxillofacial surgeon from Jammu and Kashmir to receive this highly distinguished award.
Pertinently, Dr Ajaz has numerous national and international publications to his name and heads the JK chapter of AOMSI.
From last two decades, Dr Shah has been doing exemplary work in uplifting the specialty of Maxillofacial Surgery in Jammu and Kashmir.
