With the onset of an online examination trend, students have lost their fear and fervor for exams. In the valley of Kashmir, examinations have nowadays become a formality instead of an investigation of the abilities of the students. All the students are dependent upon the sympathy of teachers. The students, personally, are left with no evaluation of either their knowledge or their skills. Withdrawal of face-to-face classes was the need of an hour. But the online method of examination has made the students care less for their studies. The lifeless online classes are dreary and unexciting. It lacks the impulse and eagerness in the students. Today’s classroom has merely become a procedure to follow and nothing to examine. Resting on students’ performance in his/her presence or absence, a teacher has to evaluate blindly. If talked about the high education at Bachelors’s level, students and teachers both beat the bush around. Students are asked to appear in the examinations under no supervision. Students copy the stuff from wherever possible and paste it on the screen later shared with the teachers to evaluate. This has affected their skills which they will lack for their lives now. It is in no way a graduate student can be filled with reading or writing instincts, questioning or answering instincts, or reasoning instincts. The right time is now and if it is learned by a student today, he can make use of it tomorrow. If these skills are left unknown and unlearned by him, he has to regret them forever. Hence, teachers need to assign projects and coursework to help students learn the minute possible details of their lessons.
