J&K reports one corona death, 112 fresh cases

Srinagar – Jammu and Kashmir reported 338 fresh covid-19 cases while two more people succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Saturday.

They said 100 of the fresh cases were reported from Jammu Division and 238 from Kashmir Valley, taking the total count to 316629.

Regarding the fatalities, they said, one each was reported from Jammu division and Kashmir Valley repsectively, taking the fatality count to 4335.

Providing the district-wide details, the officials said that Srinagar reported 96 cases, Baramulla 19, Budgam 20, Pulwama 16, Kupwara 19, Anantnag 19, Bandipora 10, Ganderbal 21, Kulgam 16, Shopian 2, Jammu 14, Udhampur 4, Rajouri 12, Doda 42, Kathua 3, Samba 0, Kishtwar 14, Poonch 7, Ramban 4 and Reasi 0.

Moreover, they said, 497 more COVID-19 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours—177 from Jammu Division and 320 from Kashmir. So far 316629 patients have recovered, leaving active cases at 4048—1754 in Jammu and 2294 in Kashmir.

There was one new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today and thus the cumulative number of confirmed cases rose to 30 in J&K.

A number of these cases were confirmed at diagnostic laboratories of SKIMS Soura and CD hospital.

The SKIMS cases include female (21) from Aripathan Budgam, male (16) from Lachimanpora Khag, male (72) from Kanipora Main Budgam, female (56) from Pulwama Main Budgam, female (27) from Branwar Chadoora, female (19) from Quilmuqam, female (33) from Dardpora, female (25) and male (25) from Gurez Bandipora, male (35) from Wular Vantage, female (27) from Rezan Ganderbal, male (41) from Poonch, male (47) from Delhi, male (64) and female (38) from Poonch, two males (32, 58) and female (35) from Lar Ganderbal, female (30) from Waliwar Ganderbal, female (42) from Punjab, female (27) from Jummu, female (50) from Soura, female (50) from Hyderpora Srg, female (50) from Soura Srg, male (69) from Hyderpora Srg, female (35) from Dal Gate, male (27) from Naaz Colony Bandipora, female (30) from Kangan Ganderbal, female (68) from Safapora Ganderbal, female (27) from Rakh Haran Ganderbal, female (27) from Barsoo Ganderbal and female (23) from West Bengal.

The CD cases and include female (42) from Iqbalabad, two males (40, 44) from Hiller, male (34) from Panchpora Marhama, female (25) from Guree Bij, female (40) from Lekipora Dooru, male (8) from Mirmaidan Dooru, female (28) from Nowgam Verinag, female (36) from Munward Ang, female (55) from Cheeni Chowk, male (42) from Brakpora Ang, female (48) from Janglat Mandi, female (52) and male (25) from Brienty Dailgam, female (20) from Panchalthan Chittergull, female (25) from Sombruna Nowgam, female (24) from Brariangan Shangus, male (28) from M P, male (29) from Shopian, male (35) from Pulwama, female (18) from Srg, male (24) from Pattan, male (20) from Anantnag, male (23) from Kupwara, male (24) from Srinagar, two females (26, 33) from Trahpoo, male (28) from Khiram Bij, male (68) from Uranhall Bij and male (30) from Soaf.
