J&K Reports 298 Fresh Covid-19 Cases, 4 Deaths

Srinagar – Jammu and Kashmir reported 298 fresh covid-19 cases while four more people succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Thursday.

They said 102 of the fresh cases were reported from Jammu Division and 196 from Kashmir Valley, taking the total count to 315960.

Regarding the fatalities, they said, two deaths each were reported from Kashmir Valley and Jammu Division, taking the fatality count to 4327.

Providing the district-wide details, the officials said that Srinagar reported 60 cases, Baramulla 19, Budgam 20, Pulwama 9, Kupwara 17, Anantnag 30, Bandipora 4, Ganderbal 13, Kulgam 24, Shopian 0, Jammu 7, Udhampur 7, Rajouri 7, Doda 9, Kathua 2, Samba 23, Kishtwar 16, Poonch 14, Ramban 8 and Reasi 9.

Moreover, they said, 573 more COVID-19 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours—110 from Jammu Division and 463 from Kashmir. So far 307312 patients have recovered, leaving active cases at 4321—1918 in Jammu and 2403 in Kashmir.

There was no new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today and thus the cumulative number of confirmed cases remained 29 in J&K.

A number of fresh covid-19 cases were confirmed at diagnostic laboratories of CD hospital here and GMC Anantnag respectively.

The CD cases include male (43) from Bemina, male (90) from Bota Pora, female (20) from Amdakadal, male (24) from Lal Bazar, female (30) from Eidgah, male (33) from Hawal, male (48) from Elahibagh, female (27) and male (30) from Soura, male (42) from Hawal, female (70) from Bota Kadal, female (29) from Alamgiri Bazar, male (32) from Elahibagh, female (27) from Buchpora, male (57) from Soura, female (30) from Khanyar, male (45) from Hawal, male (65) from Fatehkadal, male (50) from Badipora, female (40) from Khayam, female (28) from Elahibagh, male (28) from NA, female (72) from Saderbal, male (45) from Habak Shanpora, female (30) from Khanyar, male (52) and three females (80, 20, 16) from Shalimar, two females (21, 17) from Habak, female (34) from Brein, two females (35, 13) from Check Dara, male (33) from JKB Brick Kiln Senzan, female (16) from Wahipora Pul, male (32) and female (8) from Pastuna, male (55) from Nagbal, male (36) and female (25) from Mandekpal, female (26) and male (28) from Tulbagh Pampore, female (44) from Pahoo, male (25) from Khrew, female (43) from Kadlabal Pampore, male (42) from Nambal Pampore, female (34) from Munpora, male(50) from Zaffron Colony Pampore, female (65) from Bellow Pul, male (52) from Batmurran Pul, male (31) from BB Cantt, female (60) from Zawoora, female (55) from Danamazar, female (26) from Sakidafar, female (50) from Pulwama, female (27) from HMT Srg, male (60) from Srinagar, male (66) and three females (67, 65, 82) from NA, male (NA) from Narbal, male (NA) from Bemina and female (70) from Pulwama.

The GMC Anantnag cases include male (29) from Hayatpora, male (44) from Adigam, female (36) from Sheelipora, male (41) from P/S Achabal, male (27) from B B Nowgam, male (65) from Khayar, female (43) from Nai Basti, female (30) from Shangus Ang, male (47) from Pushroo Ang, female (26) from Uttersoo Shangus, female (15) from Kawarigam Achabal, male (34) from Shangus Ang, female (35) from Khudwani, male (75) from Bhan, female (35) from Chadder, female (38) and two males (50, 38) from Baihama BK 511, male (60) from Reasi, female (28) from Hakura, two females (25, 16) and five males (20, 19, 10, 40, 35) from Baihama BK 511, male (71) from Monghall Ang, male (38) from Brienty Dailgam, female (21) from Heavan Colony, female (60) from Cheeni Chowk, male (35) from D H Pora and two females (30, 27) from Manzgam .
