415 Fresh Covid-19 Cases, 8 Deaths Reported In J&K

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir reported 415 new covid-19 cases while eight more people succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Sunday.

They said 171 of the fresh cases were reported from Jammu Division and 244 from Kashmir Valley, taking the total count to 314731.

Regarding the fatalities, they said, four each were reported in Jammu division and Kashmir Valley respectively, taking the death toll 4304.

Two persons each died at GMC Jammu and Baramulla while one each succumbed at District Hospital Reasi, SKIMS Soura and DH Pulwama while one died at home (Jammu division).

Providing the district-wide details of the fresh cases, the officials said that Srinagar reported 78 cases, Baramulla 10, Budgam 26, Pulwama 16, Kupwara 23, Anantnag 26, Bandipora 23, Ganderbal 22, Kulgam 19, Shopian 1, Jammu 21, Udhampur 19, Rajouri 12, Doda 17, Kathua 8, Samba 2, Kishtwar 8, Poonch 8, Ramban 12 and Reasi 63.

Moreover, they said, 745 more COVID-19 patients have recovered—166 from Jammu Division and 579 from Kashmir Division. So far 305135 people have recovered, leaving active cases at 5292–2109 in Jammu and 3183 in Kashmir.

There was no new confirmed case of mucormycosis (black fungus) reported today and as such cumulative number of confirmed cases remained 29 in J&K.

A number of fresh covid-19 cases were confirmed at diagnostic labouratories of CD hospital here and GMC Anantnag respectively.

The CD cases include male (13) from Alamgiri Bazar, male (54) from Gill Kadal, male (32) from Hawal, female (55) from Amda Kadal, male (35) from Chersoo Awantipora, female (20) from Marvel, three males (39, 23, 25) and two females (36, 60) from KK Bagh Pampore, female (24) from Frestbal Pampore, male (48) from Noorani Colony Pampore, female (61) from Reshipora Pul, male (70) from Pastuna, male (60) from Nowpora Pul, female (55) from Sakidafar, male (50) and female (45) from Shaheen Mohalla, male (65) from Barzulla, two males (66, 32) and female (67) from NA, male (34) from Kadlabal Pampore, female (30) from Natipora, male (57) from Chanapora, male (Na) from Hyderpora, female (7) from Turkpora, two males (31, 60) from Batmaloo, male (40) from Natipora, male (35) from Nowgam, female (58) from Bemina, male (24) from Karan Nagar, two females (32, 30) from Lal Bazar, male (27) from Nishat, male (40) from Saderbal, male (5) from Shalimar, two males (44, 15) and two females (45, 17) from Zakura, male (40) and NA (40) from Saderbal, male (30) from Elahibagh, two females (45, 22) from Soura, female (25) from Chandpora, female (57) from Hafiz Bagh, two females (40, 16) from Saderbal, two females (17, 14) from Bakura, male (20) from Elahibagh, male (30) from Batapora, female (33) from Ishber, female (30) from Syedpora, male (46) from Check Dara, male (20) from Ishber, female (25) from NA, male (NA) from Naseembagh, female (75) from Fatehkadal, male (38) from Khanyar, two females (45, 16) and two males (16, 26) from Saidakadal, female (32) from Zoonimar, female (32) from Buchpora, female (21) from Hawal, female (25) from Barbarshah, female (43) from Saidakadal, female (26) from Khanyar, male (29) from Zari Mohalla, male (16) from Hawal, male (38) and two females (45, 55) from Nowshera.

The GMC Anantnag cases include two males (29, 27) from Srinagar, male (40) from Pune, female (23) from Halsidar Kapran, male (63) from Hanji Danter, male (37) from Damhall, female (26) from Rampora Mattan, female (40) from Nanibugh, male (21) from Dardgund, male (18) from Kherbora, female (70) from Badwani Check Ang, female (28) from Arwani Bij, male (16) from SICOP Bij and male (49) from Kachwan.
