Beliefs have gone astray within the communities in the chiefly-covid-affected country of India. Hindus had a belief in cremating the dead before submitting its ashes to Ganga. However, when the deaths over numbered  and the cremation accelerated its cost in UP, the poor and the helpless went on either burying the dead on the banks of Ganga or submitting the whole dead body instead of ashes to the largest river in India. They didn’t have the other way. They are left with no way other than to leave the bodies unprotected in the midway. When the bodies couldn’t make a way into crematories, they sought their way directly into Ganga. Thousands of dead bodies of the Covid victims are being fished from the major rivers in India in UP. Now, the authority has placed a big fishing net to gather all the dead bodies in it. All these dead bodies go forlorn, camouflaged, and orphaned. No one can treat them well. Their relatives are afraid of touching their bodies, and those who fish them out can’t be merciful to the unknown. The crematorium suits those who can afford the cremation of the dead. Others abandon the dead bodies of their people and want them to find a way for themselves. A number of dead bodies were washed away by the river water on the banks. Some were taken out by animals passing by. The river water along with the river banks has become contaminated and stinky. Such has the menace of burying the dead bogged down the state of Uttar Pradesh. How far can holy Ganga conceal the unholy truths of the authority?
