Who stole their breath?

In an emergency like the prevailing, breath has turned out to be more valuable than before. Covid-19 has shown off an ugly face of blocking the breath and making the lives of humans miserable. With more than a year of wearing masks has made us ponder over the stuff we inhale. We are cautious of whatever needs to get inside our bodies, should be non-infectious. Nobody wants to fall prey to the virus, but the virus doesn’t enter our bodies seeking prior requests. Such an uncertain situation and an unsure tomorrow when everyone around is being protected of their breath, some inhumane humans have stolen forty oxygen cylinders from a hospital at Kupwara. Aware of how precious each puff of oxygen is, they sought a deal, and the deal concluded at a predetermined place despite the place being under the supervision of guards. But who dared to steal their breath? It has been proven by the people that the nature of a person cannot be changed in a wink, no matter how badly mother nature changes itself for his change. Human minds won’t give up viciousness. While some people, ignoring the crucial circumstances are ready to serve others, some are busy to make matters worst. Humanity has gone clean of the minds of such people. We cannot blame Covid for being ruthless when we see humans acting worst than the virus. How can be the woeful virus different than the thieves who stole the life-saving equipment? The homicidal attempt to steal the exclusive material out of the hospital premises is indefensible and should be probed immediately. Nothing worse could be imagined to happen in a society than to snatch the breath from under people’s noses.
