Srinagar: A retired Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) on Monday died due to COVID-19.
He was 69.
A police spokesman said this evening that Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbagh Singh and police pariwar have condoled the sad demise of retired SSP Mohammad Yaseen Bhat.

Born on January 15, 1952 in Srinagar District, Bhat served Jammu and Kashmir Police in many capacities on many key posts in Telecom wing and retired as In-charge DPT, Jammu and Kashmir in 2010.

The DGP, officers and officials of Jammu and Kashmir Police have conveyed their sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul, the spokesman said.
