ADGP Jammu Zone visits Rajouri

RAJOURI; ADGP Jammu Zone, Sh. Mukesh Singh IPS along with DIGP RP Range Sh Vivek Gupta IPS and SSP Rajouri Miss Sheema Nabi Qasba IPS reviewed measures in place for containing  COVID -19;  inspected District Police Lines; Inaugurated women help-desks and distributed two wheelers for the same;  assessed the overall situation of security, crime and investigation in Rajouri District ._

ADGP Jammu Zone, Shri Mukesh Singh -IPS,  visited District Rajouri for a review and meeting.

He inspected the quarantine facility at DPL Rajouri where he interacted with the medical team headed by Dr Farah Chouhan, MO, DPL Rajouri and reviewed arrangements in place for Covid 19 quarantine. He advised all to follow COVID protocols and take adequate precautions to contain the spread of infection. He also laid emphasis on ensuring 100 percent vaccination among police personnel of the District.

ADGP Jammu also held a meeting with gazetted  officers at DPL Rajouri. He reviewed the status of crime and investigation, implementation of the CCTNS project  and data digitisation, tracing and updation of record of missing persons and disposal of long pending cases. Stock of proposals for improvements of police infrastructure and proposals for new sub-divisions and police stations was also taken.

Further, he distributed eight two wheelers among eight police stations of the district. These vehicles would be used for special “Women Helpdesks” for assistance of women applicants/complainants in each Police Station of the District.
