60 More Covid-19 Deaths, 3027 Fresh Cases In J&K

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir reported slight dip in number of fresh covid-19 cases as 3027 persons were confirmed to have contracted the infection while 60 more people succumbed to the pestilence in the last 24 hours, officials said on Friday.

They said that Jammu district received 1511 fresh cases while 1516 were confirmed from Kashmir Valley, taking the overall tally to 233763.

Providing district wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 379 cases, lowest in 20 days for the summer capital of J&K, Baramulla 124, Budgam 308, Pulwama 167, Kupwara 140, Anantnag 97, Bandipora 100,
Ganderbal 98, Kulgam 72, Shopian 31, Jammu 534, Udhampur 221, Rajouri 138, Doda 40, Kathua 197,
Samba 154, Kishtwar 48, Poonch 61, Ramban 52 and Reasi 66.

Regarding fresh fatalities, the officials told GNS that 39 were reported from Jammu and 21 from Kashmir Valley, taking the total count of those who succumbed to the virus so far to 2967—1332 in Jammu and 1635 in Kashmir.

Moreover, they said, 3814 more COVID-19 patients have recovered in last 24 hours—1063 from Jammu Division and 2751 from Kashmir. There are 52848 active positive cases—18946 in Jammu and 33902 in Kashmir, they added.

A number of fresh cases were confirmed at diagnostic laboratories GMC Anantnag and include male (37) from Lithumatlo Ang, female (78) from Seer Hamadan, male (46) from Anantnag, male (51) from Old Mattan Chowk, male (21) from Malaknag, male (47) from Mattan Chowk Ang, male (NA) from Natipora Ang, female (35) from Roohu Ang, male (28) from Mir Danter, female (50) from Dabruna, male (55) from Sarnal Bala, male (28) from Bijbehara Near Police Station, male (19) from SICOP Bij, male (65) from Pazalpora Bij, two females (57, 55) from Soaf, female (26) from Nagam, male (62) from Watnard, female (21) from Chontipora Verinag, male (25) from Arabal Dooru, two males (50, 43) from Verinag, female (15) and male (36) from Dooru, male (29) from Hiller Qzd, male (45) from Mandipora, male (45) from Achabal, female (38) from Phc Brakpora, male (52) from Kaddar, female (38) from KB Pora, female (33) from HM Guri, male (33) from Yarikhah, male (18) from Pazipora, five males (50, 60, 25, 17, 19) from Khull.
