The Virus Impact – V

The virus has created havoc in the world in its wake. Nothing good has it brought to humankind except opening a window to readdress and reevaluate our lives. With the outbreak of the virus in the world, we are on the verge of either losing everything or procuring what we had lost on our way to the date. We indeed have reached the age of technology but at the cost of certain vital elements that had to be there in the society for its subsistence. Something basic we can talk about is Education that has lost its essence since the pandemic burst. Online classes don’t makeup to the true knowledge of students. Books have been excluded from the academic life of students. The progress has been stagnated and confined to the completion of curricula students get at their schools. There is no option for students to be indulged in co-curricular or creative activities. It makes them uninspiring and tedious. There is no responsibility they will be able to share in society in the future. To pass a class and cross an academic year, factually, is not ample. Students lack the additional knowledge and the first-hand experience of what they study. Clarity of things is a long way away from them. Subjects that need practical practice and individual experience cannot be justified in online classes. How far can we defend education in terms of crisis? Have we failed imposing education rightly in our society? Education needs to be planned well so it can affect those it is meant for, gravely.
