The Virus has spared no one on this earth. Deaths after deaths make the situation miserable. While the scenario has put human lives at risk, people in India are struggling not for livelihood this time, but for living. The condition of the poor is deteriorating with passing time. The poor are getting poorer day by day with no source of income either to buy provisions to fill their stomachs or to buy medicine if infected. India had tried hard to fix its broken economic conditions during these years, the virus has taken it all. Poverty has taken its toll on the country again. Besides India, Kashmir is also facing the worst situation. This region has been under severe restrictions and curfews for years together which has crushed its economy gravely. This has left people in Kashmir with no regular income. The classes have been lowered in ranks. Poor lack the idea of income and rely on charity or public fundings. The working class with little or no savings is ceasing its spirit and is either on the verge of crumbling or has crumbled beforehand to that of the poor class. The Virus has made it to weaken humans physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Such a crucial time has created havoc in its wake and is ready to wreck all the precious. There is no way we can stop poverty from soaring high in society. It has already made its space and repositioned itself by becoming despotic in nature. Whereas it is difficult to keep poverty in check, for now, the poor should be helped in every possible way by the authority and others.
