Engineering student allegedly commits suicide at IIIT campus in AP

Vijayawada: An female student of engineering, studying at IIIT Nuzvid campus, allegedly committed suicide in her hostel room at Nuzvid town in Krishna district in AP on Monday.
Police said that M Madhuri (20) was a third year student of civil engineering at the Ravij Gandhi University for Knowledge IIIT. She committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan in her hostel room when her hostel mates went for lunch.
The deceased student belonged to Gandhinagar area in Kakinada town. The police registered a case and shifted the body to the area hospital for postmortem. Love affair was suspected to be the motive for her taking the extreme step.
