Mumbai: The Maharashtra government on Saturday issued fresh guidelines for ‘Mission Begin Again’, aimed at regulating the Covid-19 surge.
The guidelines will be applicable from tonight to April 15.
According to the guidelines, face coverings (wearing of face covers and masks) are mandatory in public places, at workplace and during travel, and maintain social distance of minimum six feet in public.
The guidelines further say that cinema halls, malls, auditoriums, restaurants will remain shut from 2000 hours at night till 0700 hrs in the morning, however, home deliveries will be allowed.
Night curfew and strict regulations will be enforced during this time period, and violators will be fined for flouting them.
