RAJOURI: Sheema Nabi Qasba IPS on Monday took over as the Superintendent of Police in Rajouri district. She is the first lady SSP of this Border District and the public especially women have great expectations from her.
She took over the charge of police department in the district from outgoing officer Chandan Kohli who has been transferred and posted in Jammu.
Sheema Nabi Qasba, soon after taking over the charge, held an interaction with the staff of District Police Office and later reviewed the security arrangements made in the main town for the ongoing Bhairo Jhanki.
She also took part in an event held in main town and inaugurated the proceedings for Bhairo Jhanki in town in presence of Additional SP Rajouri Liyaqit Ali, DySP HQ Vinod Sharma and other officers.
She was briefed about the security arrangements put in place in town to ensure smooth conduct of procession which is decades old and an internationally recognized one.
SSP Rajouri Sheema Nabi Qasba also visited District Police Office and inspected working of various sections.
