Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir police arrest four gamblers and recovered stake money in south Kashmir district of Kulgam on Tuesday, a police spokesman said this afternoon.
They said on a tip-off, a police party from Police Station (PS) Devsar, Kulgam, raided a gambling site. During the raid four gamblers were arrested and stake money Rs 5500 besides a set of playing cards were recovered from their possession.
He said case FIR Number 12/2021 U/S 13 Gambling Act stands registered at PS Devsar and investigation is in progress.
