Mumbai: The Rupee on Tuesday slipped by 19 paise to 73.15 against the US Dollar on rising demand for US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The local unit declined in opening trade on firm Dollar against other world currencies amid strong opening in the stock market.
The Rupee registered days high and low at 73.20 and 73,10 respectively, he added.
