Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum has congratulated the students, teachers and all stakeholders whose efforts have ensured a stupendous class XII and Class 10th result.  A phenomenal Secondary School Examination result was followed by a more satisfying class XII result which, considering the situation that we were in, is by no means a mean achievement.

In a statement to news agency, Teachers’ forum hails the efforts of worthy Commissioner Secretary Education – B.K Singh, Director School Education Kashmir – Mohammad Younis Malik, Chairperson BOSE & Director SCERT – Veena Pandita, all the teachers, Lecturers and students who have worked extremely hard to achieve this sweet success.

According to news agency, in a congratulatory message, the president of the forum, Mohammad Akbar Khan, said that even when all the odds were stacked against the teachers, they found a way to succeed. The resilience, grit, determination and conviction shown by the teachers in torrid times is there for everyone to see. Government School Teachers were involved in online, tele and radio classes and left no stone unturned to disseminate knowledge among the learners.

He said “Lack of high speed internet and a serious infrastructural deficit in Government Schools did not deter these people in achieving their goal. Government Schools, dispelling the narrative created by some people, have shown excellent performance. It is extremely unfair that some people are bringing to fore the result of a very few Government schools having poor result. While doing so, they are ignoring the larger picture which is quite satisfying. Such people who are belittling the efforts of Government run schools are playing into the hands of a sinister lobby who are very keen to degrade the image of Government Schools in public eyes”.

“A scant few people with vested interests are involved in false propaganda against Government Schools and such people will not succeed in their evil machinations. A large number of children reading in Government Schools have bagged top positions. Subject-wise result analysis is also up to the mark. Children have come out with flying colours despite the stressful conditions that they found themselves in during the last couple of years, he said according to the statement.

“President of the Forum praises worthy Director School Education who braved all odds and went ahead with the conduct of the exam both in the turmoil hit year of 2019 and in the contagion hit year of 2020.  Extending his heartfelt congratulations to the students, the president said that Children are the future of the country and our children have worked extremely hard to fare well in examinations. He wished them a bright future and hoped that nature keeps at bay all the impediments in the smooth functioning of the schools, reads the statement. (KDC)
